Has anyone else spotted this? Euan let me know about it and from the pic in the mag it looked to have an original body, so I went to have a look at it.
It has an 8BA engine which apparently runs, and the asking price is $1,700. It belongs to Richard Martin and is located in Kinglake West, Vic. As I said I had a look... it's been sitting under pine trees for a long time. ![]() It's a late production version by the look of it despite the possibly spurious engine number given in the ad. The cab has a fabricated roof. The body is very rusty and has had the inner wheel arches deleted. ![]() And the tailgate has had holes cut into it. ![]() Still, the front shell looks not too bad and is the late "FORD CANADA" type. Richard has several other Ford CMPs and other interesting vehicles in various stages of interesting decrepitude. I have no connection other than going to have a look.
