careful - note the shop tag indicated that the block has already been machined/re-built.
Look in the local auto club newsletters, ford club websites, etc - there's stuff still out there. Also be ready for the valves to be stuck, etc, especially if the engine turns over easy by hand.

i got my flathead off ebay for 60.00. it needed to be rebuilt but the block was ok and just needed oversized rings. a blown piston may cost you farrrrr more than that. but the rebuild shop will fix it for you.

I may have a spare engine/transmission. Both will require work, but thats all part of the fun...Let me do some digging. |
