I knew that I had seen another photo. There is one on ANZAC Steel



with this caption

This is a preserved vehicle, pictured at the RAEME Training Centre, Bandiana in 1986. At least one Series 2 short wheelbase workshop vehicle served in South Vietnam.
I don't know about the last line, but the rest seems legit. Also makes a further modified trailer to the list ian put up.
