Hi Dan

Thank you for the information on all three service numbers, my friend has the bag with the number on and i have found the book you mention for sale at http://www.marway-militaria.com/books.htm. my garndfather Joind up on 01.06.40 in Calgary Alberta aged 26 and served with the 2nd Bn RCE from oct 1940 untill 18th July 1945 in the UK & NWE.
