The copper brake lines currently available in the UK are actually an alloy of copper and something - maybe it's nickel . It isn't straight copper anyway.

Hi guys,if i remember correctly the original brake lines were copper coated?.
mine were on the f30,but i have replaced them all for saftey sake with modern brake line pipe.
