Your old 42 Ford has a humungous Super Heavy Duty Cast GM ront axle and a teenee weenee Ford rear axle.......
Your front axle has a massive cast front face and multi cast iron braces...... I found a similar axle on a early cab 13 (1941..??) Chevrolet..... cab early floor pattern and full tie rod end linkages like cars..... Bets are that the early design as an original R-Zeppa front inner axle..... I know I have close up pictures of the anomaly..... but do you think I could find it...... it's an age thing.... you'll get there one day.... By the way "Kudos" on the upgrade of the forum.... Boob

I am a bit surprised by the current bid - incl. costs it is higher than the advertised price of €7250 at which it failed to attract a buyer for many years. SAM_4476.jpg SAM_4457.jpg
