Your old 42 Ford has a humungous Super Heavy Duty Cast GM ront axle and a teenee weenee Ford rear axle.......

Your front axle has a massive cast front face and multi cast iron braces...... I found a similar axle on a early cab 13 (1941..??) Chevrolet..... cab early floor pattern and full tie rod end linkages like cars.....

Bets are that the early design as an original R-Zeppa front inner axle.....

I know I have close up pictures of the anomaly..... but do you think I could find it...... it's an age thing.... you'll get there one day....

C15A with Dutch registration RA-33-13. It has had this registration since 1957, so chances are this is a real ex-Canadian Army truck which was left in the Deelen dumps, used by the Dutch Army and then sold off for further civilian use. I have no idea whether the census no. CZ4257156 is original.

It is an C60L APT of Aug-45. I did see it during the viewing day yesterday and while it is a nice truck, it is not perfect but it has nice touches like original rear tyres.

I am a bit surprised by the current bid - incl. costs it is higher than the advertised price of €7250 at which it failed to attract a buyer for many years.

Auction closed today with record prices for most is not all items: this C60L made €12.750,- excl. 40% auction cost and taxes - totaling 2.5 times more than the advertised price(!)
