Default Yes Phil

It seems to be most of the older thumbnails.... it may just be pixilation of those, but I'll have to take down the forum to test this. At least the links work. Methinks I'll work on this come Saturday morning unless something else crashes. There's also a new iteration of the forum I may upload at the same time.

In the interim, I HAVE run a program to identify the "corrupted" photos, most of which go back years; methinks I'll delete them at the same time and see if that helps. There aren't that many considering we have over 20,000 images online...

Thanks for bringing this up.

G.

Thanks for all the hard work you have done Geoff and anyone else working behind the scenes to get MLU back up and running.

Would it help with the photos if we started having them hosted off site on photobucket or something similar?

Thanks, yeah it's been a bluidy nuisance which isn't done yet, but we're getting there! Ref the pics, no, let's keep the status quo for the moment... things are obviously evolving and I'll sort this sooner rather than later. I've already increased the restrictions on posting pics, which may help. Let's all of us just keep a close eye on things.

Jif

Default I should add...

... that if you do want your pics to show up full-size, by all means use one of the hosting services and link to them. Otherwise we'll go with what we've got.

Hi Jordan

My son in-law has business of designing and running commercial web sites and he advises staying away from the photo storage sites, historically they have not been stable. Some have shut down and all the photos stored on the site were lost.

Cheers Phil

http://www.surfacezero.com/g503/index.php is non-commercial, run by enthusiasts, and has proven to be very stable.

And has CMP content!
