If they were from the factory they would be in sections of 21 links ? I'm not sure but something like that. I think they are off that carrier. Just sold that way to get a better dollar.

Default Second carrier sold...

...this Mk.1 went for $6,909.28 (Canadian) after 41 bids. The tracks are at $2,487 (CDN) with a day to go. I this just a case of crazy E-bay bidders? It's two for two now.

Its hard to say about the bundle of tracks and if they were like that out of the factory. They can't be the easiest to move around like that.

As for the price of the Carriers, personaly they are nuts paying that much for so little. Mine was a fair amount of money ($2000) but these are stupid amounts that they are going for on ebay. To me this is just a case of people not looking around enough and being dumb with ebay and getting carried away with an auction. Its easy to do as ive been there but not to that amount.

I don't know about you Jordan, but I went out to the garage tonight and gave my carrier a little pet on the fender. Might change the oil tomorrow.

$2000 for yours was a bargain Jordan !!! I would pay that any day... keep a hold of these things guys i feel a sense of responsiblity to save as many of these things as i can, one at a time of course save them going to the chop shop or farmers wanting them for work horses cutting them up. (this is not a personal attack on farmers though)

I found new track rolled like that a number of years back. Then again, I also found it in the 21 link sections brand new.

If the track is as new as the vendor states, then I would expect them to fetch a bit more yet. They don't make the stuff anymore, and if someone did, I suspect you would pay a bit more than the price on ebay to aquire it. I think someone was on this forum once quoring around $10K to cast one carriers worth of new track.

Default Tracks

Here's hoping they are NOS as claimed and not just taken off a wreck as was suggested. Depending on how they were stored, even 'new' may not be so great. I hope whoever ends up with them contacts me for the pair of NOS sprockets I have and will sell for the right price (less E-bay fees of course).
