Hi Fletch,
Its been quite some time since I last saw your father at my place I am afraid I dont remember all the parts that I helped with on that day besides the engine but I had a lot of English carrier parts in those days, at about that time I also had a few transfer cases for the 2 Pdr and morter carrier but they are long gone now,in those days no one seemed interested in them, anyway keep in touch, and it would be nice to see some of your carrier pics,and to watch your progress,

Thanks for the imformation i will follow it up. Those transfer cases you had would be like gold today, i am lucky there i have a complete one in piece's for my mortar carrier. I will be posting photos of my progress soon but i am still trying to figure out this darn computor, (im a truck driver) the help's patience is wearing very thin.

Hi Fletch,
Its a small wprld I was talking to a friend only the other day and told him of the transfers cases that I once had, I remember removing the conection from the transfer case to the gear box on one of them and this one was pulled apart to achieve this, I guess this maybe the one that Alan got along with the engine and English carrier parts,that you now have,look forward to your pics when you get the time,if you are ever up this way call in,

I can't recall dad ever having a transfer case with all the parts he had. My case came with my motar carrier, i was lucky there getting hard to find now. Ill be posting some photos of where i am up to so far with my carriers in the next couple of days.

Here are some photos of my carriers. The LP 2 came from John Bellfields graveyard in melbourne it sat there for 30 years, and for 28 of them it was uncovered so you can imagine the condition of the internals and the floor VERY BAD. Its still not restored but it is usuable and even drove it in a parade with 30 other M.Vs including two other carriers, what an awsome day that was. The Mortar Carrier came from the ALBURY region and was just a bare hull with large holes cut in the floor and bulkhead, ill post updates as they come.

Great photos, very interesting, it seems that all of the carriers have now gone from Johns back paddock, at least they will be saved now, for future generations to enjoy.I will look forward to progress pics of your mortor carrier
