Good Luck in Haiti Clive. Must be nice going from -30 to + 35. Don't get too used to the wearher there.

It's a few degrees above the freezing mark today and I'll take that any day over that 40+ C stuff.

Milder here today and tomorrow (although humid) but another 43C stinker Saturday hopefully followed by a couple of days with rain.

Default Wow!

It's raining here so above freezing.

The hottest it has ever been here in the UK is 101 F, and the hottest I know about was one July at the RAF Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford one July when it was a baking 94. When I and a G/F were on a beach in Formentera, Balearic Islands of Spain, Med., it was once 108 F. That would be early 1980s...and since then it has snowed on the islands in winter!

I gather that in Scotland it has been up to 15 C in January, and down to -27 C, the lowest British temp.

We're heading for a top of 111F in Melbourne tomorrow, and being a Saturday I'll be out working on Chris' blitz. In parts of outback Aust it gets into the 50s C, or more than 122 or so F. But who's boasting!
