Excellent background finds, Keiths!

Here's another one. Noteworthy is the camouflage and the spare fitted to the front bumper. I believe this picture was taken in Italy.

Default CMP behind Chinese replica Lancaster

You'll need to watch the vudeeo (Video in Kiwese) to see it in this news story of the remake by Peter Jackson of the Dambusters. Intriguing.

Default Thanks for the link to www.3news.co.nz

The story about remake of the Dam Buster movie was interesting. But I also enjoyed just browsing around the rest of the site, little bit like the old days of listening to shortwave to get a news perspective from other places.

Cheers Phil

Hi things_green,

Thanks for sharing your father´s images. Interesting to see the "door art"!

What unit was you father serving in?

Thanks,
Hanno

Very interesting pictures of the artwork on the trucks' doors, things-green. More than one "expert" has told me that one never saw names or artwork on other than AFV's in WWII.

CHIMO! Derek.
