These are mixed gray male and female tabbys, fluffy with blue kitten-eyes, and seem to be healthy... the bottom line is that we have reserved two for our increasingly cat-dominated household (Gizmo needs playmates ) but there are three left. If anyone in the GTA wants what is now a six-week old kitten
You see, there's an ongoing arms race here between cats and their natural prey, ground Squirrels. Currently, the Squirrels are winning as Dogs have upped the ante somewhat by providing the squirrels with Bazookas. Cats, always ready to change their tactics, and not wanting to be far from their dish of cream have reverted to sniping from cover. Expect further sitreps. Derek.

Default Wonderful.......

Great little kittens Geoff...... enjoy.

Amazing that a bunch of red neck grease balls..... albeit grown men ...can admit to loving them little things......

They do bring a lot of joy and entertainment..... tax free.

This thread on Kittens is inspired by Kittens, which in turn inspired me to do my first post with this vid:

Default Bloody Hell....

Well, the good news is that our Kitteh Kollective is doing well, having doubled in size in the last month and being permanently up to NO GOOD. In addition, our one year-old black kitteh fuzzball adopted the new ones as her own and has been on their case ever since. It's fun.

The BAD news is that Sally showed up this afternoon with an aquarium full of... wait for it... crickets. Yes, CRICKETS. Those highly annoying chirpy bugs that like to jump and make loud noises whenever you're trying to sleep. Cat toys, she said. Except that the cats aren't allowed to eat them (damn...). Instead, the crickets are currently resident - complete with food and water (what the HELL do you feed crickets anyway??) - in our sunroom. And the aquarium is covered in cats.

This will be interesting.

Just leave the lid off, pretend Sally forgot or something, the results should be hilarious.

I saw that Keefy!

As to the aquarium being "full" ... it has 5 crickets in it. I got it off the curb from two houses down, their gecko had died.
Crickets are omnivores... a movie in the making ...." Attack of the Chirpers" .... and they sang as they ate. Geoff should sleep with one eye open now

Doesn't he always sleep that way?

I like the fact it has been gleaned - perhaps their cat got the gecko?

Default kittens

Cats are nice Keith.
Foxes are nice too, but only with a touch of Raseberry jam.

Sally I think jif would prefer one of these cuddly critters rather than some crickets

Hi Ryan

Amazing how that one managed to catch 40 winks in the chook shed of all places, so much so someone was able do dab that raspberry jam on him.

As for the other furry cuddly critters, Andrew. Perhaps Sally can pop into the noxious pet shop to grab one for him to rub against his face.

When he visited here he couldn't wait to see some of our indigenous wildlife.
