Hi Rich, He's done a great job packaging it up, well done to him, neat way to carry the upper lengths of track.
those brackets, one is for cliping in place the starting crane handle, the other is the little thinging for holding the rear tarpaulin in place, they are called footman loops. cant wait see to your carrier. hope it all goes well. best regards kevin.

Richard up here in the wastle lands there is a large marine engineering company...J.H.Wood Ltd. very capable and not afraid to tackle any type of job...Im sure they could make a reasonable facsimile of the armour required...at the moment son n0.2 is being schooled not far away from you in Seaton-Delavel so might well be able to pop over for a look-see...regards malcolm

Well don rich, she's on her way, Rob's done a great job for you. get yourself some wooden blocks and four 50t jacks ready to strip her down. When it arrives and you unload it make sure you keep those securing straps, there yours you have paid for them!. I am guessing on two weeks from sailing depending were the boat stops first.Christmas has come early for you this year. Will she be ready for the 6th June? Kevin.

hahahahaha. nope but if i had armour ready to go, i reckon i could have her done for September no probs all be it the little nik naks would not be there...nevertheless a running road going carrier she would be. mind that would be a pedal to the metal resto, and i would prefer to take it slow and methodical, my aim is to produce a rebuild towards the quality of Horsa's T16, that is my benchmark
