Hi,
Thanks for info am following this up. Is there any other people that can help? I beleive that there was about 2,300 'wide bodied' dodges made, but were too wide to fit into C47's and were recalled and had rear bodies narrowed, mine seems to have escaped this recall. I cannot find another.

Hi Nick
I have 2 but I am by no means an expert on them. Mine are unrestored and the one has been rebodied with a Ford pickup. It has the original dash and data plates. I seem to remember that mine were both August 1945. I had a few boxes but have got rid of them all except the best one. Some previous owner had painted GMC on the tailgate. Cheers, Barry
