Oh my, lots of Carriers turning up at Milweb recently; here´s another T16. Or could it be the same as the first one in this thread?

Incomplete, stripped project. Parts list available. Would hope that this ideal, first time project goes to a good home.

That most recent carrier is a different vehicle from the earlier one that had apparently sold. I've traded some parts and lots of information going both ways with the owner who is in the UK. His T-16 hull serial number was 100 off from mine and this is the specifics I had for both of our vehicles:

Name S/N Lift Hooks Date Registration
Gordon 5399 FS 5488 1-44 TD 97377
Bledsoe 5498 FS 5597 1-44 T 286476

I'm really surprised to see him selling it, although I guess things do come up in peoples lives that can force a change. He had a lot of work into restoration as of a year ago and the armor was complete.

David,

You are right, I remember it now, the first one is the same as the one pictured below. This picture dates back to 2005, at that time it was owned by a man in Lincoln. It was dated 30/10/43 and had been in use as a playground attribute - note the walk-through openings cut in the rear and bulkhead.

Neil I think you're under selling yourself. Some WD motorcycles are changing hands for that money. Also I've seen Carrier restoration projects for not much less.

I'm not trying to inflate the value! I'm not parting with mine.

i may be wrong but the T16 that had been in the play ground was owned by Clive Hughes, it was offered to me a couple years back for £4500 no internals or engine. still got the pics of it from then with the tarp over it and the track stacked up in the back
