Default Ford and Chev

Lynn - that's a national treasure. Back when I was collecting and preserving CMPs years ago I had the address of a lady who owned a copy of the Ford and Chev books which I was told she had for sale. I chased them for many years and eventually gave up. Yours is one of those books. I believe thay were only a relatively short print run.

Cheers

Phill

Looks like you have some takers for a copy of your book (not myself, unless it had Weasels in there ); my 5 cents worth would be to get it copied professionally rather than a 'I ran them off at lunchtime on the office photocopier' type of effort. I am sure the increased cost for a high quality print of a rare journal would be of little concern to an interested enthusiast.

Steve.

Although there seems to be a groundswell of interest in a copy of this book, is there any point?

Lynn, is there any text accompanying the photos? If the book is just pictures, then Clive Law has already reproduced the same original factory pictures on CD, and they are as clear as the day they were taken and scanned at a high resolution so all the detail is crystal clear, not like some copy or scan of an airbrushed lithograph. You can order the CD through Clive's site, http://www.servicepub.com/

Thanks for reminding me Tony I've been meaning to order the CD for ages now so I have just ordered a copy of the CD.

Default Copy v CD

Hi all - I know what Tim Tam is saying but I still like to have a hard copy in my hands as opposed to another CD. Call me old fashioned but you lose a lot with the electronic media. I would still buy a professionally manufactured copy.

Tony,
Thanks for bringing this to the attention of the MLUers. For Australian buyers who may gasp at the $15.00 shipping charge added by my software I confirmed this morning that the actual cost (before packaging supplies) is $13.80. In one case where a number of books were added to the order and the shipping charges totalled $33.00 be assured that I refunded $18.00 as overpayment. This is because my software isn't 'smart' enough to figure out all of the permutations of book size/weight and destination.
Clive

Clive I send a lot of plants by post around Australia and I glanced at the $15.00 fee and thought it was fair and reasonable if not cheap. I look forward to getting the CD and having a browse, especially at the MCP vehicles.
