Default Fan Shroud

Anyone have or know where I can find a fan shroud for the original MkI radiator. Everything is still original as to engine placement, fan, radiator, etc. but isn't going to cool well enough without a shroud. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ross

I ran my first carrier for years with no fan shroud, no rad cap either for that matter. Never had a problem.

The carrier system was set up for heavy duty use. There is a wide margin of safety built in for what we use them for, the occasional parade or sunday drive.

Kind of funny seeing Big Mike's name still on this board. Haven't heard hide nor hair of him in quite some time.

I believe the shroud is important. I dont know where you live but, the carrier is about four ton. It has to suck the air down the ducting , through the radiator, and then stuff it out through those two holes in front of the rear axle.If you put in a rebuilt motor, you may be up against it, if you dont have every thing in place. I think you are right to make the effort.
Sorry Rob. I,m not trying to poke you in the eye
