Interesting subject, all I can think of right now are fire trucks. Here´s one from Holland.

What a fabulous looking piece of kit! There are of course the famous 'Blitz buses' from Burma too, but they are basically new bodies with CMP fronts. There were even a few buses built here - Keith Adam has one based on a Ford F15.

Indeed; interestingly, it´s front looks very much like the DAF trucks of this era (see attachment). It was built by Wijnveen in 1955 using a 1943(?) Ford F60L chassis for the fire brigade of the town of Echteld.

BTW, the source of the pic above is http://buzzybeeforum.nl/viewtopic.php?f=152&t=7782, the source of the DAF pic below is http://www.oudedaf.nl/Nostalgie%20pagina%202.htm

Speaking of marvels made in series production, who knows what hides under these sleek lines?

- Hanno

P.S.: Brian, one of these is for sale!

Yes but not quite at my fingertips.

Although that one was more in the 'one-off' category rather than series production.
