| Company in SA

G'day Tim, Contact Darian Carn in Adelaide and ask him the details for Antique fastners in SA. We had the same problems with the same bolts. 2pdr stuff is all Whitworth from memory; and all odd threads and lengths, many requiring modification to heads and thread lengths. Darian will have a better memory of what was needed. Pedr |

| Bolts..machine screws

Hi Tim, Countersunk having a flat head or a domed head? Steel I presume? Let us know and I can have a look. I just don't think I got much small stuff. I was happy to get the big stuff for my Valentine project. Regards Alex |

Hi from the UK, You try and get hold of a 3/8 BSF Countersunk bolt/set screw in the UK with a slotted head, you will find it very difficult. I needed some for the carrier. I have some stainless steel ones the length you need both in BSF and Whitworth, the whitwoth ones are self colour mild steel. I am intersted in carrier parts or 3 inch mortar carry tubes which seem to common in Australia, can we help each other?. kevin.

| Melbourne company

I have been given the name of a company in Melbourne I will try them in the morning... The bolt heads are flat, to allow the traverse gearbox to pivot over the base plate that attaches it to the mounting. tim |

The wording of his ad seemed hardly Customer-friendly (but at least he was honest about it).... "THIS IS WHAT I AM SELLING, IF YOU WANT SOMETHING DIFFERENT ASK SOMEONE ELSE." ....But I thought you could have possibly asked if he had 6 in stock. |
