.....I did the same thing Ron.... sketching on paper the rotation and changes when the ring gear or the whole axle is flipped over.
Pretty resourceful for the builder...... and raises some interesting ideas for backyard projects....... Bob

yes bob i'll get one too, and tell you how it is.
They got a Fordson 15cwt chassis and turned it backwards. They used the engine, radiator and transmission (US made ford 4 gear gearbox) mounted a axle on the front, put on some brakes on the front and rear with cables and sticks. Then there came an other guy which was pretty handy with sheet metal he went bending and cutting for a day or so. And the result was a loyd carrier ![]() Greating's Paul

They flipped the whole axle over. Also the radiator fan had to be specially made to suck from the cabin and blow air out the back of the vehicle.

....just flipping the fan blade over ........?? nah your right they would have needed to design a different blade......curve of the blade would be wrong once flipped.
I installed the batteries in my flashlight backwards once..... it sucked out all the light in the room....... Back for another beer... Boob
