Well ended up in Calagary for the last week so went to the south store there and they had some also, most were 1940 but found 2 MS&ULtd 1943 pouches, the 43 ones have a plain brass snap, the 1940 ones they had have a fancier brass embossed snap.
well now all I need is the 2 front ones to match and all the harneses ?, anyone up here in Canada who might have some nice NOS ones ? If so please PM me .

All the NOS ones I picked up are now gone.
The store still has 9 used "FRONTS" for the same price. They show wear, no holes, & some have names written on the backs. If anyone is near Kamloops or Williams Lake, check out Surplus Herbys to see if they have any at there stores.. item number is 28704 01161 I did find one today that is a little different. It has a rounded bottom No markings on the inside On the top strap yolk it has a circle with what looks to be the top half of a 5 point star & under it it looks like nl 507 Under that is a large "F" (front?) & DOM. A. CO 1951

The half star stamp is the post war acceptance stamp that Canada was using to replace the C broadarrow.The half round bottom is interesting but will be hard to find a matching rear one.I just returned from Princess auto and there are half a dozen rear pouches still here.Happy collecting,Derk.
