Rumor has it.....
.... that certain employees of the Big three were making some on the factory CNC.....apparently in there spare time..... the big job is writing the program.... then you just feed the machine with free raw stock......
I got 8 of them..... and they are not cheap....and they are almost too beautiful to install on a CMP..... and have asked for 100s more on behalf of all of you.... If they become available I will let you know..... or if you see GM going broke you will know why..... I am thinking of welding mine on so they can't be stolen....hihihi Bottom line ....yes they can be made...... You can torture me .... but I can't say anymore.... BooBee

studs and nuts
I think the Champion brand is JAPANESE. Many CMP (blitz) nuts and studs were made in Japan to supply the local market after supples of war surplus had dried up. Also, the DKK brand is JAPANESE. Does this qualify for NOS???

I think there would be a greater demand for the nuts than the studs..... probably 5 or 6 to one...... almost every wheel I have could use 2 or 3 new 7/8 nuts.... one rim in 4 might need a stud replaced Personally if I could get my hands on a full set of nuts.....40.... I would be set for life........price per unit becomes the big factor.... Howard....consider the work done "under the table" as part of the Billion $$ financial stimulus package...... if they can help the Banks they sure can help us poor CMP collectors.... Lendlease....... personnaly I don't care if they are made in Russia with left over steel from radioactive submarines...as long as quality is good and they fit .....glowing in the dark is a bonus. BooB

How loud are those nuts anyways....?
Will they scream when we tighten them....? PM me so we can work out the $$ details.... and shipping as it may be cheaper by first class airline seat then by postal freight. Boob
