Default Ford Blitz F60S 1943

Ford Blitz F60S 1943
located on ebay... not mine but a mates.

Restored 1943 Blitz. Ford Canadian Military Pattern (CMP) F60S. 60 CWT (3 ton) Ford. Short Wheelbase. Unregistered.

Starting from the bare chassis, as shown in photos, this vehicle was rebuilt from the ground up over 4 years. Totally rust free. Many parts powdercoated prior to being assembled and painted. New wiring loom, and electrics. Reconditioned generator and starter motor. Reconditioned radiator and water pumps. Motor reconditioned. Brake cylinders and new master cylinder. Universals, diff seals, springs reset and new bushes. Fuel tanks cleaned and lined inside. New glass in windscreen. LED lights in side lights and indicators fitted in side lights. Full pioneer rack and POW (petrol oil and water) tins all 1940s. Tyre rack and tool box. Tool roll with original tools (not complete) crank handle, wheel brace, hub nut spanner. Camo net for WW2. Reproduction side windows, some ammo boxs, map case, gas mask etc. Hand made body to original specs. Full canvas cab cover for protection. Full canvas rear body and hoops. Reproduction data plates. TAC plates and markings for a vehicle in New Guinea around 1943-44. This vehicle has been used in movies. Vehicle is dry stored at Jimboomba Qld and can be viewed by appointment. Grant's truck is great, we've seen a bit of it on Here. I caught up with Grant at Canungra one year, and it's certainly a well presented truck.
