Here are some pictures of the WaterProof Cover #20. The WS-19 installation guid calls for the #19 Cover. However I have never seen any photos of this item. I managed to snag this one on ebay not too long ago. The WS19 Control Box in the picture is the correct one for being installed in a Mk1* Carrier.
Im sure this cover is correct for the Carrier as it fits perfectly and makes sense on how it would protect the control box from the weather. Im just wondering if the #19 Cover was simply backed by canvas and not the metal plate? Anyway I thought you would all find this interesting since its not something seen that often.

Jordan,
Nice find.I have the control box and #19 set in my carrier and wondered how the boxes held up in the weather. That would make sense to have covers for them. The more I read these discussions, the more items I need to find for my carrier! Nice to see pictures of what I need, the fun is in the hunt, the pain is trying to find the money to pay for it! Derk.

I think it is time to give an update on the progress of the aerial bases.
As I am currently running about 6 months behind doing what I promised to do I should apologize first ![]() Okay, I have returned the original to the owner but have made the changes to the cad drawings at the laser cutters. I am now happy with that part of the operation. Once I have finalized the pricing I will post photos and a detailed description of what I am supplying as I did not have all the components of the base to copy. Until then Kind Regards Nigel |

Derek, Only the control box up front would have this cover. The other one in the rear compartment above the WS19 set is covered by the big cover.
Once I get my front ammo bins from Midwest Military I will take some pictures of the way this should all be setup. Nigel, pls put me down for one of the aerial mast bases.

Thanks for the update Nigel - I was wondering what had happened about the bases as i have found an original brass toothed base plate. I am still accumulating parts for the scout as I go, whether or not I restore the machine myself.
Cheers Phill

Hi Jordan
So what are we working on..... The back panel that has the edges turned over...... the narrow metal strips that are rivited over the canvas...... and you have the switch box to bolt to the backing plate...... or do we also need the backing plate for the switch box.....? May be cheaper to send by Grey Hound...... I work downtown and can easily pick it up. Boob
