I don"t know what you are implying with your capital letters "NOT. I have checked out the bolt holes on my carrier and they are countersunk on the outside and have the correct dome headed, countersunk, slot headed bolts. Being on the outside of the hull means that the bracket would be fitted on the inside and as far as I am concerned this was done in Fords factory in Canada and not done by anyone else. John.

I simply mean my carrier doesn't have it? And my carrier is factory as well.
I wish a Ford designer was around to say why? Or even a memo. Its one of those puzzles? Cheers Adam |

Hi all, would be anyone so kind and measure for me the position of four holes for the smoke discharger on the side armour (Mk.II)? I need to drill them on my project.
Many thanks in advance!

Petr I just measured mine as accurately as I can and drawn the hole centres at actual size on an A4 sheet.
But if you have the bracket? You will only need the top left hole as a datum. 3 3/4" from the front corner of armour and 1/2" from to top. Ron |

My armour with the holes is original, but I'd be inclined to drill the first hole and wait till you find a bracket before you drill the rest, otherwise you might be chasing them out with a rats tail file.

Definitely true, Ron, but I think Im going to make replica of the bracket, so not an issue in this case. Thanks for support!
