As it says in the documentaries, my ancestors Josiah Rising and Abigail Nims were taken captive as children during the 1704 raid and carried back to Montreal by the Mohawks.
There is a book called Captors and Captives: the 1704 French and Indian raid on Deerfield by Evan Haefeli, Kevin Sweeney. Parts of it are on google books including the list of the victims of the raid (appendix D). Rising, Nims and the Warners are listed on page 285.
