All pictures of CMP Quads in British service that I can find are from 12 Cab Quads .
So maybe when they refer to Chev or Ford Quads they mean 12 cab versions |

The earliest-known photo of a British-order Chevrolet GT, taken in May or so 1941 is a # 12 cab, so I believe that there were no # 11 cab GTs. Of course there were also some rebuilt # 42 cab Chyevrolet Portees that were converted to tractors though did they just run with 17-pounders?
The earliest British Ford GTs were asembled at Dagenham, model EC011QF, delivered under SM 2020 and asembled under V/4513. These must have been # 12 cabs. Of course there were # 13 cabs, from both GM and Ford. |
