A word of caution in exceeding 45mph, the words of Ernie come to mind
"But strange things happened on their wedding night
As they lay in their bed"

and so to with a CMP.
We regularly had to negotiate a long downhill run, and apart from the vibrations, which I assume had a lot to do with the "fight in the drive train" such things as wheel nuts coming loose, oil leaking, no flowing from gearboxes and diffs, and on the 4x2 the bearing in the 1st motion shaft regularly giving up the ghost, it was decided that in the interests of safety 45mph was a good speed!!!
