I was wondering whether anyone has seen this Canadian publication before. It has 310 pages and looks a lot like half a Ford MB-F1.

Somewhat common at the gunshows. Not being directly for any certain vehicle, I have passed up on many of them. I likely have a copy downstairs somewhere.

Rob is right..Had a copy..It is very generic and is a general reference for the 1940's era mechanic..that had little formal schooling but with lots of pictures and simple explanations..

I had one of those as an Army cadet in 1957 at Camp Borden, Cadet Trades Training Camp, D&M.

It was a great reference manual since our hands on involved 15 cwt "strips", which were Chev/Ford CMPs stripped right down to chassis, seat, steering wheel.

IIRC, the paths of flow were shown in different colours of paint so that a student could follow the hydraulic, fuel, water etc lines from start to finish.

That sounds like just the book i need, lol, I am a computer guy so it is a heck of a learning curve for me to be fixing up my vehicles, lol

Below is a picture of the 1954 version by GM of Canada , this was produced from the 1947 edition by Jim Handy who produced films and training aids in that period.
It looks as if this is the same as the war time production.
