There is a body of folk-knowledge that Ed's Red homebrew gun cleaning solvent is as good or better than most of the commercial potions. Automatic Transmission Fluid and Acetone are 2 of the ingredients.

Garlic juice....?
Been using Gibbs at the barn..... seems to work very well.... will have to get supplies from CTC and mix a brew....? ....but need to watch aorund the hot wrenches.... that acetone can remove eyebrows very fast !!!! Boob................wooosh !!!
