18th Field Company - RCE

Hello!
My late father, Spr. W.H. HIGNEY, served with the 18th Field Company, RCE during WW2. I have two questions please:
1) Would my father's name be mentioned in the War Diaries for the unit?
2) How many personnel would have comprised the 18th Field Company, RCE?

18th Fld Coy had about 256 members. I don't know about the names mentioned in the war diarys. I have a pic of the 18th in Nov 42. If you send a request to abderby@hotmail.com I'll see if I can dig it up and email you a copy.
