Nigel Watsons Carrier book (Vol 1) was recomended in this thread and by others. However before I outlay for the book can anyone confirm that the Loyd is covered in some detail.... I wouldn't want to get it only to find that the Loyd got two pages!

I agree with Richard. The Loyd gets very good coverage in Nigels book. You need it.

Jep, Nigel's book(s) is certainly a must; lots of nice Loyd info...also the odd test vehicles and specials.

Congrats on the purchase of the Loyds....read about it on HMVF.

It's well worth coming over the channel....Paul Visser and Dirk Leegwater both have a loyd and live very close to eachother.

Next time try through Nigel Watson himself: http://www.universalcarrierbook.co.uk/ If you ask politely he is more than willing to sign it for you.

Also try to get hold of the following back issues of Wheels & Tracks magazine:

Issue 48
Dodge T214-WC55: 37mm GMC M6 - Wheels & Tracks of UNPROFOR - The Loyd Carrier - Gulf War Junk - Normandy 1994

Issue 49
