Gents,
Doug Ovens has invited us all over to the annual Silver Creek Steam Show to be held Saturday 07Aug10 at his gravel pit. Bring your military vehilce and drive it around the picturesque setting, have a hamburger and see a steam thrashing machine, old cars and tractors - and all of your friends from the London area. A good time is guaranteed - or double your money back! See you there about noonish. Call me for details. Stewart |

The Steam Show is a 20 minute drive North of London, sort of around Ilderton.
If you head north on hwy. 4, turn west at Hwy. 7, then 4 minutes towards the lake. Neill Drive, if I recall correctly. Stewart |

Ladies and Gents,
The annual Silver Creek Steam Show is a go again for Saturday August 6, 2011. The fun starts with a military vehilce parade at 1:00 PM, and will include a superb place to show off your machine to a very appreciative crowd. The venue is perfect for HMV's with varied terrain and courses from mild to wild. Doug Ovens is our host, and would like to get as many green machines as possible to salute the few WW2 veterans that can still come out from the local area. Probably the best place to run your Carrier or jeep beside a steam engine! Lunch and a great dinner are provided, and some cold drinks are usually found on a perfect, sunny day (guaranteed, or twice your money back!). Directions as above. See you there! Stewart |

Ladies and Gents,
The annual Silver Creek Steam Show is a go again for Saturday August 4, 2012. The fun starts with a military vehilce parade at 1:00 PM, and will include a superb place to show off your machine to a very appreciative crowd. The venue is perfect for HMV's with varied terrain and courses from mild to wild. Doug Ovens is our host again this year, and would like to get as many green machines as possible to salute the few WW2 veterans that can still come out from the local area. A birthday party for a 100 year old former OPP office will be held, so be sure to attend. Probably the best place to run your Carrier or jeep beside a thrashing machine! Lunch and a great dinner are provided, and some cold drinks are usually found on a perfect, sunny day (guaranteed, or three times your money back!). Directions as above. See you there! If I am not down blowing something up in Maryland... Stewart |
