A few Covenanter bridgelayers reached Australia, so that might be the answer to how it got there. There is one at the Lancers Museum at Parramatta.

I was thinking along those lines but wasent sure. Its a pitty that the one at Parrammatta has spent the last 50 years outside as it was very complete. I would like to give it a new home ! Many thanks Matt |
