Hi Stan

If you come this way to look at it give me a shout ahead of time please to make sure Im around , would be more than happy to show it to you.

Jim

I have no idea what it would cost, best thing to do being you live down there is call around to find a shipper that would cross the 49th and come get it all .

border stuff is not a big deal, nothing a broker cant look after, we just sent a carrier to USA from here so Im sure others would chime in and tell you the people to talk to, to get it done.

the total weight would be prolly 10,000 lbs with all the extra parts , If you ned more info or pics shoot me an Email or PM with your Email addy, Ill help how I can.

thanks for your interest guys.

Terry,
Border stuff is no big deal. I had my F8 shipped to the US and did not need a broker. The US Customs people advised that a form 7510 (if I recall correctly) was all that was needed and they have them in stock and will assist the shipper in filling them out.

Regards,
Jim

Default Costs....

Other factors that will affect cost of shipping......

Where it is picked up...(brokers' warehouse or Terry's backyard)..How the load is packaged.....roll on roll off as opposed to lift on lift off..... and hwere it is dropped off...again warehouse or backyard.

I had a transport truck deliver used army tire casing to my house.... first he was pissed because he had a hard time finding the place..... I was not home and he cut the cello wrap .....and the tires, once freed off the skids and rolled in the ditch in front of the house..... but was kind enough to roll them in the drive way for my wife...

Are all parts properly set up and secured on a skid or skids.....

Can vehicle be driven on an off...... will Terry have a ramp for easy/safe loading...... forklift for skids....

Are all the heavy parts worth shipping....and in fact needed... can the axles be stripped.... are the rims salvageable...have tires been removed from spare rims.... would hate to pay hundreds of dollars for something that becomes ballast at 0.10 cents a pound once in Arizona....

Has a container been considered...

Keep us posted so we can all learn.
