Default North Novie documentary interviews

Howdy everyone. Again,I'm throwing it out there that I will be doing interviews for a North Novie doc.

I think this is very important to our Nova Scotia military history,as the regiments name is after all our provinces name.
This documentary will not only be from my perspective as a nephew of my two North Novie uncles, but will follow the regiment as a whole across France to Germany

I interviewed several fellows already, but will want to do more interviews asap, and will be home again in the next few months to do it.

I will of course be getting in touch with the regular contacts (I.E.,Legions,senior residences and the like)but if you personally know of a North Novie who could add more light on the experiences of this regiment, please let me know.

This is the chance to show what our fella's of the "Fighting Novies" did for us,while fighting alongside all of the other brave, courageous men of other divisions, regiments, battalions and companies.

It would be an added bonus if they remember either of my uncles;Perley Cameron,a carrier driver landing on D-Day with "C" company and Ernest Hill, rifleman of support company killed at Tilly la Campaigne/Verrieres Ridge.

Pictures, letters(even film!) or any of the like will be so useful to this project

All help wit this is appreciated, and you can contact me via this site or at alcammy@hotmail.com

Cheers, and thanks in advance for all of your help!

Default Interviews

I wanted to say thanks to Wayne for setting up my MRP/ North Novie presentation at the armouries in Truro last month. It went well and I made some new contacts.
In Truro,Amherst and Antigonish I interviewed approximately 15 North Novies, bit a total of 41 veterans during my three weeks of interviews.

All of them are one hour long,on camera interviews of which the families will have copies for themselves shortly.

Thanks again Wayne,it was great to finally meet you!
