Default Tl13801

TL13801 is listed in the British parts book, external stowage section, Mortar baseplate housing assembly, strap, securing. Only listed as used on 3 inch mortar (all types)

Page 56 of Nigels second book has it listed on the P6 illustration but no TL numbers mentioned, part 34

Thanks to Lynn for giving me the kick up the a*** to look for it.

Ben

Thanks for all the info/pictures youve posted. When I get back from my vacation I'll start in on making them all up.

Better late than never, here is the measurements for the CTL12117. It is a rubber strap that is 18" long by 1-3/4 wide. There are two holes on the fixed end which correspond to the screws and retainer which hold it in place.

On the far end are four 3/8 holes. The first of these is located 4-3/8 from the end of the strap. The next 3 holes are each 1-1/2 further up the strap.

The end of the strap is squared off, not pointed, rounded or anything like that. Also, besides the part number being stenciled on the strap, it is also cast into the rubber.

I'll snap a photo next time I am in the shop so that all this makes sense.
