The little 2-inch rounds really get moving fast, especially once they arc over and start coming back down. Link attached has my wife firing with me down range. These were light loads we made so the rounds would only go about 200 yards with a 70 degree angle. Hotter cartridges can easily put them out to 375 yards at the same angle but they are tougher to find again without good spotters. Nice thing about the 2-inch mortar like Lance is selling is they can be reactivated with ATF approval. If you can own a handgun in the USA, you can legally reactivate a mortar and won't be turned down. Federal fee is only $200, one time for life.

Good times!
I always looked forward to going out to Rob's place for a visit.You never know what adventures await! The blackout drives in the jeep were cool also.Wish I could have seen it!

Using a shotgun shell full of powder this 3 incher went about 500 yards at that angle. Half a dozen rounds were within about a 50 foot radius. Lots of fun!

Nice 3 inch mortar!!! Only reason I am liquidating some of my goodies is to buy another armoured vehicle...I have another toy to add to the collection.. Fingers crossed
