The chap who had it was a Mr Farros, he had been after a carrier for many years. i stripped it down and sand blasted it , rebuilt the engine etc painted it in the base colour he wanted . here is a photo of it stripped out in the workshop in 2003 i think .

This carrier i purchased from a collector who had started to restore it, I think he got it from Ronald Trustcott. he was doing a wonderful paint job but could not stop it over heating after it had been running for 5 mins. the rad was blocked solid. cleaned the rad and it ran a dream. it is quite a famous carrier in that it was used as a crash tender at Chobham and is show in the "Making Tracks" book. i had this one for 2 years , it is now owned by Marcus Glenn.
