Well simone just found the nut had wound itself off, so it was probably pumping about 20% capacity. The diafram is not broken but I think its worth replacing. She's gonna kill me for puting pics up. Beauty is in the hands with the spanner, and she's a great cook.

Well done to Simone. Removing the pump is a bit awkward, refitting is much easier.

Colin, I'm sending a PM to you.

Default Household Duties

Hi Colin - well you had better get the ironing board and vacuum cleaner out and do some housework. You are superfluous to requirements in the shed now. I showed Ada your images of Simone and she was very impressed.

I think I'm one of the lucky ones, I don't ever hear,
"That bloody shed" or
"what on earth do you want that for" or
" i'm sick of that...!"
You got to admit guys, you got to be a little bit jealous. Would your
wife be happy for you to build a 100' workshop in FRONT of your house and say
"I told you, you should have made it bigger".
I better stop now, ive got washing on the line and I need to peel the vegies for my roast.
( I just broke a nail typing this )

Well done Colin. I,m lucky too, Jill is often out in the shed with me and is always willing to do most jobs (under supervision) to help out. The biggest problem is that she is a neat freak and sometimes I'll put down a spanner and then reach for it 2 minutes later to find that it has made it's way back into the tool box, but that's small price to pay as without her help, not much would get done.
We didn't build if front of the house but it was Jills suggestion to sell up where we were and buy a bigger place and then build some big sheds. A third is now going up at the moment.
I couldn't do it without her help.
Regards Rick.
