Maybe edit 'Hitlers rant' out of the movie Downfall to fit in with that yarn...

Good job guys! I am really curious what's on the video.

Actually I thought it was Adolph Galland who said "Give me a squadron of CMP's" (not necessarily Fords...) after he watched the video which was brought to Germany by a German POW who swam all the way from Canada to Germany after jumping from a train near Ottawa.

Just as well the film survived the long immersion in salt water.

Default Well done

Well done chaps!

Hope we can all order our copy or copies soon.

Any ideas how long a 18cm/7inch spool runs?

Cheers,

Are we sure that this isn't just a CBC or NFB wartime production?

That would be the most likely option, in my view. A copy was sent over to entertain/educate the troops of the Canadian Army Occupation Force in Germany. At some point in time the film went AWOL, only to surface from a chest in jemand's*) attic which is being cleared out by jemand's children, who, fortunately, decided to flog it on Ebay?

Could have gone like this, eh?

H.

*) jemand = someone
