Default LAA chassis
Actually, most of the LRDG Fords were 11 cabs, despite the first batch arriving in March 1941. I have never heard mention of more F30's arriving, but there were possibly eight No 12 cab F8's and 20 F60's. Yes, I have done one of each of them too. Photos nearly always show hooks over front bumpers, Chev axles, pull switches on patrol trucks. See recent find by Kuno Gross on this web site. I'm just about finishing my second LRDG replica F30 patrol vehicle.
P.S. anyone need a LAA chassis and axles, plus wheels, I have a good one. Circa 1942/43 period.

I have the bofors, and would love a truck like this. Shame it is on the wrong side of the pond.
