What's hiding under the net on the Leopard hull?

I think you will find that the cam netting is hiding the fact that the Leopard does not have a turret.

That was one of the ones surplused a few years ago and none had turrets.

Likely someone who was there will confirm.

It in fact does have a turret, but not a proper one. I have a buddy who bought 2 of them when they were being surplussed. He offered me one a year or so ago, both running, but no turrets. Good luck finding one! Wonder what the military did with them?

Truth be told there is half a turret under there. It was a drivers training tank. That is the only turret you can get here in Canada when the Govt. sells them off.

Vettes I would love to get a look at your M2 sometime.

Default canadian leo turrets

If you want one come over here to Australia. I remember reading we bought 90+ turrets off Canada when you guys upgraded your Leo1s with x-german turrets. Now that we have M1A1s they're probably rusting out in the open somewhere.
