The mask is too large for even the nominal 8" Lucas motorcycle lamp which has a glass of a fraction under 200mm
The WD masks were integral with the rim. I'd suspect that what you have was made for a pre-war civilian car. Probably a posh one.

I have seen two pairs of these over the years at swap meets here in Aus. One pair I saw for 3 years at different meets, so obviously no one wanted them, it was described as being for a Blitz, even though they were clearly too large.
Be interested to see what the brains trust comes up with. Rich.
