Grant..
I agree with your analysis ..and don't know enough about the ratings except what was in the manuals ./I never saw a dedicated CMP Wrecker manual but think the tonnage ratings on the W-45 were too much for the CMP Wrecker which was mated to the C-60S ..on many of the illustrations of actual trucks in the field that I saw..
Rolf Ask in Norway has a beauty..
There are pictures of it on the forum somewhere..
The W-45 capacity was too big for the three ton...more suited to the Diamond "T"s and the Macks..
Wild Bill has the Big D with a W-45 on it..He should drive it up from Burton so we could look at it..
I'll buy him all the hamburgers and beer at Bobby's he can stuff in his face ..
Or did I miss that..??

Default Loading F60H on the day before.....

This weekend is Stefan with the F60H truck to a KTR event.I asked
Stefan & Astrid to take lot's of nice pics on the "Dutch Proofing Ground".
Name of the Military Base is "The Harskamp", a shooting camp!!!
Jaap the Wit with his C15 wiring truck is also coming to the "Harskamp.
Two early "special" monkey faces in one meeting, prima.

Default KTR's Veluwe treffen 2011

Stefan and Astrid are back home, they toled me that the F60H truck
is really a beast (speed & power). Jaap's C15 4x2 wireless truck looks
and is a very nice truck. A perfect restauration Jaap!
Here are some pictures in a field somewhere in the middle of the Netherlands,
no Barry not Holland.

It is nice to see Astrid at the wheel. I know how tall Stefan is so I wonder how Jaap fits in his truck.
mvg,
Barry

Very nice! Good to see the F60H is making it's first steps again. It will be a sight to see with the Holmes fitted.

Default almost there!

Hey guys, it's been quiet from side for a while, but the restoration made progress.

Here are the photos from a week ago, and now all the cables and parts are attached, except for some small details.

More pictures will follow.
