Mining for e-mail address
About your question of more junk mail I am sure you are correct. At work we started looking at our web site use statistics and we discovered a lot of late night traffic. What our web consultant is telling us is that some of this is automatic programs that are going through our web pages just looking for e-mail address and links to other sites to go and look at them for e-mail address. At work we are trying to find software that will detect this rapid search and disconnect or block them from mining our web page for information.
