Hi Rolf,
Nice find ! The first restoration I got involved in was a 1943 C4 compressor truck. Seem to remember there was a data plate on the engine side of bulkhead near to the carburettor and the contract number plate on the dashboard passenger side. I think the chassis number was stamped in a rear spring hanger bracket, going back 25 years now so could be wrong..... Richard
