Thanks for the heads up
I found out that the vet in question served with the 27th Sherbrooke.
So, I sent my dad the pics of "Bomb" for him to use a basis of his painting. BTW, my Dad has painted other subjects that people may have seen at various Forts ( Fort George, Prescott, the War Museum etc) http://www.phmc.gc.ca/cmh/image-386-eng.asp?page_id=442 I will post pictures of it when completed.
