George: Dirk's shipment arrived within a week of the courier picking it up, plus or minus a day. What pissed me off, was the customs I had to pay on the parts $75.00. This is no reflection on Dirk and his shipping costs, but I always thought there was am exemption on vintage/antique vehicle parts coming into Canada. I'd be open to hear from other purchasers of "overseas" parts. All parts fit perfectly and the 3 Tonner will be back on the road within a few days. Now.....for another point, which of you guys knows how to post a picture on the MLU Forum. I need a volunteer with an email address cuz....I'm going to pull a MLU dirty On Dirk! Robert |

I think there was a directive to customs at the US boarder to not bother with anything uder $500 and go after drugs and guns instead ,I had the first thing I ever bought from Holland come to Canada and for some reason it was sent back to Holland $45 that the shipper had to pay I had friend in Holland that he took it to as they were comming to near me I reimberst him for his troubles The freight cost more than what I bought I only have paid customs three times on over 100 things .Alot of couiers charge more for brokerage then what it is worth .
