Jordan..See if the threaded area is tapered..that will tell you it is a pipe thread..for liquids such as oil or water think pipe threads..It is probably 1/4"NPT(National pipe thread )or 3/8"..all easily obtainable..

It 18 tpi, so as Alex said, NPT. It appears to be a parrallel thread, as your picture and mine have a copper washer under them. These things go on the hole size for volume flow, so it will be 1/4 NPT (BSP is 19 tpi) The other end fits the ford sender.
